Medical Insurance and Prescription Plan
You are covered the first day of your assignment with a comprehensive group health insurance plan through one of the most highly regarded insurance companies in the nation. OceanMed Staffing covers 75% of the premium, so the cost to you is minimal and deducted from your paycheck each pay period. We offer two plans in order to give you the opportunity to choose the coverage that makes sense for you. Both plans can be extended to your spouse and dependents. In the event, you do not need medical insurance and prescription coverage, you can elect not to participate and receive a fixed benefit payment each pay period.

Dental, Vision & Life Insurance
In addition to the Group Health coverage, your dental, vision and life insurance policies will go into effect the first day of your assignment.

401k Program
At OceanMed Staffing, we also care about your future and offer you a 401k program to assist in your retirement planning. You are able to contribute a portion of your earnings tax-free to the plan. A comprehensive mix of investments is offered by our 401K program in addition to other tools to assist you with your retirement planning.

“Share the Love” Referral Program
At OceanMed Staffing, we strive to provide the best total compensation package in the industry. In addition, we work to create a “serving” environment tailored to the happiness of our employees and we depend on you to get the word out; or “Share the Love”.

This Referral Program is the most generous in the industry. As an employee of OceanMed Staffing, we will gladly pay you $1.00 per hour for every hour that your referral works for the company…forever! This breaks down to over $500 per assignment for every assignment that your referral completes. We direct deposit your Monthly Referral checks into your bank account at the beginning of every month.

Paid Vacation
All OceanMed Staffing Employees will receive paid vacations for the loyalty and commitment to our company. After 520 hours (1 year), you will receive a paid vacation of $1000. After you work two years, you will receive a paid vacation of $2000. You will continue to receive $2000 in paid vacation, for every year after that you are employed with OceanMed Staffing.

Assignment Completion Bonus
Completion Bonuses are offered on the majority of our assignments. The bonus ranges from $500 to $3000 depending on the location of the assignment. Ask your Allied Health Consultant for details.

Licensure Reimbursement
Your Consultant will assist you in obtaining the required license for any state that you desire to work. OceanMed Staffing will reimburse the cost of the license on your first paycheck in that state.

Continuing Education Allowance
Our Continuing Education Allowance program will let you earn $500 in Continuing Education funds your first year with the potential to increase funding up to $1000 per year.

Travel Reimbursement
Whether you decide to drive or fly to your desired destination, OceanMed Staffing will cover the cost or reimburse you for the travel cost for every assignment.

AAA Roadside Assistance Reimbursement
While you are traveling for OceanMed Staffing, we care for your safety and we will take advantage of any opportunity to reduce your risk while traveling. We offer reimbursement for the cost of your AAA Membership for all of our travelers. We feel this benefit is very important to you as a traveler and we hope this benefit will help put your mind at ease while you are on the road. The AAA membership includes Complete Roadside Assistance and many more outstanding traveler benefits.

Housing Assistance
There’s no place like home. Our goal is to make our employees feel comfortable and secure in their home-away-from-home. Our Lodging Specialists take great pride in meeting all of your lodging preferences and special requirements. Please check out the “Your Housing” page for more details.

Per Diem
Your Consultant will provide you with information and requirements of our per diem program. If you choose to provide your own lodging, then you can take advantage of our Lodging Per Diem. The majority of travelers are also eligible for a per diem for meals and expenses. All per diems are tax-free.

Direct Deposit
By enrolling in direct deposit, your weekly paycheck will be directly deposited into your bank account on record with us to ensure that you are promptly compensated for your efforts.
