The first step to beginning your career with OceanMed Staffing is creating a Professional Profile. A Professional Profile consists of your resume, three professional references, a quick application and a skills assessment.

There are 2 ways to apply and complete this task:

Team Assignment
After we receive your profile, OceanMed Staffing immediately goes to work for you. Our first step is to assign a dedicated team to work on your behalf. Your team will include:

  • Allied Health Consultant
  • Account Executive
  • Client Development Manager
  • Lodging Specialist
  • Compliance Officer

Your Consultant will contact you promptly to get to know you, find out exactly what type of career you are seeking and to answer any questions that you might have about the process.

Identifying Opportunities
Once your personal Consultant establishes your career goals, assignment preferences and flexibility, your team will create a personalized plan based on your needs and desires. The Account Executive will identify all of our current job opportunities with our active clients that best fit your requirements. If there are currently no opportunities available satisfying your requirements, your Client Development Manager will organize a thorough job search focused on your personalized requirements.

Typically, it will take the Client Development Manager between 1-4 days to search the market and identify new opportunities for you. Your Consultant will keep you updated daily on the progress and status of the search.

Selecting Opportunities
Your Consultant will organize the opportunities identified during the search process, develop a detailed summary of each opportunity and present them to you for your consideration. The information for each opportunity will include a detailed job description, facility location, work schedule, assignment duration and the compensation package including salary and benefits. Your Consultant will be able to answer any questions that you might have about the opportunities.

Offer & Acceptance
Once you decide that you want to be considered for a particular opportunity, we will submit your profile to the client and set-up an interview to introduce you to the client. After the interview, we will follow-up with you and the client to gather feedback on the conversation. If we have mutual positive feedback that both you and the Client want to move forward, we will formalize the offer and send it over for your review along with the documents required for employment. Your personal Consultant and Lodging Specialist will schedule a time to discuss your assignment details, enroll you in our benefits program, make travel plans and assist with your accommodations.

Compliance
The final step in the process is confirming acceptance of the offer by returning all paperwork to your Consultant. Before work can begin though, a background check and a pre-employment drug screen will need to be performed and will be setup by your Consultant. Once your Compliance Officer has all of your required documents, your Consultant will send over your itinerary and inform you that you are compliant and ready to begin your career with OceanMed Staffing.
